 Hope is the first border collie I kept.   All 29#s of her.   She has become my go to sheep dog for larger areas.   I needed a dog trained up quickly when Bull started to age.   It just happened to be this little Border Collie.  She is amazing at reading her livestock.   If I'm paying attention to what she is telling me,  we can put together a good team.  She makes life easier.  She helps train up my young dogs in the larger pasture gathers.   I could write a book on how important this little gal is to me and as a using dog on the ranch.  I don't work with her much on cattle, I have plenty of young dogs for that.  She can work cattle - she will head and hit a heel...  I will continue to compete with her and to use her for Celtic festival demonstrations.   She loves people.
